Due to restrictions of the Latvian and the Finish sport and health authorities, Baltic Cup in Pyhatunturi Finland from 16.-21.03., for age categories U12;U14;U16;M;U10 is cancelled.

Tomorrow 14.03., FIS Baltic Cup Paralell slalom will be organized for the racers that are already arrived. From then all planned ski races will be cancelled also from the Ski Sport Finland side.

Hotel Pyhatunturi and the ski resort remain to be open for guests, but do not recommend people to arrive from other places in bigger organized groups in buses. We also have to inform you that there is a suspect case that is tested for COVID-19, but still not confirmed as positive.

All sides understand how serious the situation is and ask all participants of Baltic Cup event and other costumers to be patient and responsible. Regarding any changes or cancellations for accommodation and ski lift please contact [email protected]
