No 4. marta līdz 6. martam, Igaunijas slēpošanas kūrortā "Munakas" norisisnāsies FIS SES snovborda kauss un Latvijas atklātais čempionāts frīstailas slēpošanā un snovbordā big air un slopestyle disciplīnās.

Šis sacensības tiek uzskatītas par sezonas preztižāko notikumu Baltijā, frīstaila sporta veidos. Šo faktu apstiprina vairākas lietas, pirmā ir sacensību kategorija, kas ir Starptautiskās slēpošanas Federācijas (FIS), Mazo slēpošans Nāciju Organizācija (SES) un nacionālā čempionāta sacensību kategorija. Otrā ir sacensību parks, kuru big air disciplīnā veido 15 m liels big airs un slopestyle disciplīnā ko veido divas slaidu platformas un divas tramplīnu platformas. Un trešā lieta ir dalībnieku konkurence, kas būs Baltijas labākie frīstaila slēpotāji, slēpotājas, snovbordisti un snovbordistes.

SES kausā sacenstīsies tikai snovbordisti kas pārstāv kādu no SES dalībvalstu komandām. Latvijas čempionātā sacentīsies Latvijas republikas pilsoņi gan snovbordisti, gan frīstaila slēpotāji. Un atklātajā kategorijā sacenstīsies visi dalībnieki, kuri varēs izcīnīt naudas un vērtīgas atbalstītāju balvas.

Par sacensību vietu izraudzīts slēpošanas centrs "Munakas" jo atbilst viesiem "FIS" noteikumiem par šo disciplīnu organizēšanu, kā arī slēpošanas centra vadība ir ieinteresēta lai "Munakas" norisinātos preztižas sacensības.

From March 4 to March 6, the Estonian ski resort "Munakas" will host the FIS SES Snowboard Cup and the Latvian Open Championship in freestyle skiing and snowboarding in the disciplines of big air and slopestyle.

This competition is considered to be the most prestigious event of the season in the Baltics, in freestyle sports. This fact is confirmed by a number of things, the first being the competition category, which is the International Ski Federation (FIS), Small evolving ski nations (SES) and the national championship competition category. The second is a competition park, which consists of 15 m big airs in the big air discipline and two slide platforms and two springboard platforms in the slopestyle discipline. And the third thing is the competition of participants, which will be the best freestyle skiers, skiers, snowboarders and snowboarders in the Baltics.

Only snowboarders representing one of the SES member teams will compete in the SES Cup. Citizens of the Republic of Latvia, both snowboarders and freestyle skiers, will compete in the Latvian Championship. And in the open category, all participants will compete, who will be able to win cash and valuable prizes of supporters.

The ski center "Munakas" has been chosen as the competition place because it complies with the "FIS" regulations for the organization of these disciplines for the guests, as well as the management of the ski center is interested in the "Munakas" prestige competition.
